Description

Registers are grilles with a damper attached to the back.

Opposed blade dampers allow you to control volume by moving simultaneously in opposite directions closing to provide superior metering and control with a minimum disturbance of the air pattern.

Damper is Aluminum Material and color and has a type-A slot in the corner for adjusting air flow. You may use a flat head screw driver to open and close the blades. Grilles are resin material and will come in the finish of your choice. Only unpainted grilles are returnable/exchangable.

Please allow up to 4 weeks lead time.

All finished registers are final sale. Only unpainted products may be returned.

    Well made grill/register

Published by L. Wise on 20th May 2021

I purchased this to install into an existing 6x10 opening. Installation was not quite as easy as I was hoping for, as the old vent was a bit out of square. I had to do some bending to the duct sheet metal to get the new register to fit. After a little work and a little mess, the new grill/register was in place. After caulking the edges, and standing back, I have to say that it is a really nice register. Looks great! Just be aware that it is tight to size, so there is not much fudge room for poorly installed ducting. I would definitely purchase these registers again, and am happy to recommend them to you.

    great heat register!

Painting the paint grade register was a bit intimidating at first. I called Majestic and they lead me through it. I used a spray primer and my wall color which was a benjamin moore Beau Green. the vent cover now blends in very well with the wall. Only thing I would suggest is using a spray paint if possible as painting by hand took a bit longer than I planned for.

    vent covers?

Published by Calista B. on 19th Sep 2018

what an odd afterthought. Something you never pay attention too. Vent covers blow air and aren't supposed to look pretty, right? wrong. If you are like me and didn't save a penny on your remodeling, finish the whole house and then as you're looking around- it's like something is off. It's those registers, the ones everyone has in their home. I already spent 100grand remodeling what's another $1k. So long story short folks, if you're still reading, change those vents, even though these look simple, they add that little extra oomph you're looking for. And thank you Steve at Majestic :)

    A suggestion

Published by Michael on 13th Apr 2016

I normally read the reviews for negative comments and suggestions- so here is mine: don't get registers for every room in your house. Only get them where the air blows on you and you need to control it. It'll save you some money. I ordered a ton of these registers, it has been a few weeks now and I realised I probably won't ever use the damper thing in most of the rooms. So save yourself some money and get registers only where needed.

These are simple , but they do not look cheap. They are heavy duty.
